What are the appropriate flowers for a funeral?

In general the most appropriate funeral flowers are all white arrangements.  Roses, lillies, carnations, and Lisianthus are just a few flowers that come in white.  It can be difficult to decide which flowers to send for a funeral which is why we have an assortment of sympathy and funeral flowers to choose from.

Funeral Arrangements: Funeral flowers arranged in a vase.  These are perfect to send to a home to let them know you are thinking of them in a time of loss.  Funeral flower arrangements are generally sent by friends or co-workers.

Funeral Stand or Funeral Casket Spray: These are usually a gift sent by close family or very close friends. These are designed with seasonal fresh flowers and are delivered to the funeral home.

How do you order flowers for a funeral?

Ordering flowers for a funeral is slightly different from your typical flower order.   You need to know the location and time of the funeral as well as have an idea of the kind of flower arrangement you are wanting to have delivered.

• Receive the funeral home information - You will need the name and address of the funeral home as well as the time and the name of loved one who has passed.  All of this information will help ensure your flowers get to the right place at the right time.

• Decide on the arrangement you want - You can choose from the funeral flowers arrangements we offer, have a design specially design an arrangement, or you can can give us a call for a custom order.
