How can I make my flower arrangement or flower bouquet last as long as possible?
There are a few key things to remember to keep any flower lasting longer. First, you want to keep water as clean as possible. Never have any leaves on stems submerged in your vase water. This can lead to bacteria building and causing to your blooms to wilt sooner. Make sure leaves are removed from the stems high enough so they are not submerged, and change your vase water every couple days to ensure water stays clean. Second, give your flowers a fresh cut every couple days to give them the best chance to continue to drink water. After time, stems will callus not allowing the flower to take in water. The last tip to keep your flowers lasting longer is to keep them away from direct sunlight, heat, drafts and fruits.
